Collection: Andrew Morgan Smith
Andrew Morgan Smith is an American composer whose work bridges the concert stage and the screen. His music is noted for its lyricism, emotional clarity, and cinematic sweep. His concert works have been performed and recorded internationally by the London Symphony Orchestra, Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, and Acadian Wind Symphony. Recent pieces such as Toward the Horizon, A Life Well Played, and Uncharted Journey explore themes of mentorship, legacy, and discovery.
A classically trained composer, Smith studied composition and music media at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, film scoring at the Aspen Music Festival with David Newman, Jeff Rona, and Jack Smalley, and conducting at the BMI Conducting Workshop with Lucas Richman.
He has scored over eighty feature films and television projects, including The Old Way, You Might Be the Killer, and Disney’s The Owl House. Smith has also been a guest lecturer at New York University, Loyola University, Emory University, Louisiana State University, and the University of Louisiana System.
