The Goldberg Variations for Saxophone Duos, Trios, and Quartets was a project born out of the Covid-19 pandemic. By playing and recording the individual piano lines separately and splicing them together with recording software, acclaimed saxophonist Alex LoRe found a fun and challenging way to adapt one of his favorite piano works for saxophone.
The score comes complete with an ornamentation glossary, as well as part booklets for Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone 1, 2, 3, and a Tenor Saxophone book as an alternative to the Alto 3 part. We know you will love these beautiful and practical adaptations of one of Bach’s greatest works.
