Bright lights and ornaments begin to appear.
Stockings, garlands, angels, and wreaths,
Spruce trees with presents hiding beneath,
An occasion this great deserves more than a stanza
It calls for a party, a festival — an extravaganza!
With carols and key changes, hemiolas and hymns
Triumphant trumpets, and horns never grim
Fanfares and flourishes, songs filled with swells
Listen carefully throughout, and you will always hear the bells.
